This stainless steel cable tie, with a length of 680 mm and a width of 7.9 mm, is made of the stainless steel alloy 1.4301, a V2A steel material. It is very flexible, yet extremely sturdy, weatherproof, UV- and heat-resistant. A metal cable tie is therefore ideal for indoor and outdoor use.
When tightening our stainless steel cable tie, a small ball wedges into the locking head and locks the tie securely. In addition to its smooth surface, it assumes a circular shape after tightening which prevents the pinching of the bundled items. Aside from cable harnesses, this zip tie made of stainless steel also holds conduits or pipes reliably in place.
Stainless steel cable ties have a higher tensile strength than plastic cable ties and can withstand temperatures of up to 300 °C. Another advantage of stainless steel zip ties: they are resistant to many different chemicals, except for chlorine and salt solutions.
